Obtaining Locking Code for Stand-alone Computers

Your vendor could provide with any of the following options to obtain your computer’s locking code. You need to run it on the stand-alone computer on which the licensed application will be used:

Wechoid Utility - A graphical tool to obtain locking code. See echoid and Wechoid - Get a Computer’s Locking Code (About Wechoid).

echoid Utility - A command-line tool to obtain locking code. See echoid and Wechoid - Get a Computer’s Locking Code (About_echoid).

Any Other Utility or Option - If none of the above-mentioned utilities are used for generating locking codes, then your application vendor might have provided instructions on locking code requirements and procedures.

Note:   Your vendor may ask you to provide two different locking codes for a computer. This can be done to allow you to change the configuration of that computer sometime in the future.
